George III Silver Cruet Stand with Bottles, London, 1763, John Deacon, maker, five-part floriform base with five bottle frames, central upright with rocaille scroll handle, on S-scroll and shell feet, ht. 9 1/8, with set of five associated colorless cut glass bottles, ht. 5 1/4 to 6 3/4 in., approx. 15 troy oz. stand with some surface wear, and light overall scratching as if from an abrasive cleanser. likely lacquered. marks good. bottles with some edge chipping throughout. none of the lids hallmarked. two with vertical metal splits. the two smaller casters with metal end caps (as is they fit into their former frame).
