George III 22kt Gold Pair Case Open Face Pocket Watch, John Welldon, London, 1808, the guilloche dial with Arabic numeral indicators, enclosing verge fusee signed movement no. 923, within elaborate repousse case depicting Classical figures, 40 mm, (repousse worn, pair case unmarked). Bow is rose gold. Pair case has evidence of wear, repousse is quite worn and there are tears at the top near bow and by the outline of the queen's face, repair to push piece, push piece with dings. Crystal with scratches, some deeper than others, and tarnish to dial. Dents to reverse of watch case. The hands set, but we cannot wind the watch.
