George III-style Gold Painted Convex Four Light Girandole Mirror, early 20th century, topped by elaborate cresting formed as an eagle atop acanthus, the round frame with ebonized inner slip and mounted with spherules, the four curved candlearms accented with oak branches, and ending in an inverted pineapple, lg. approx. 53 in. Breaks to some leaftip, with a few missing pieces, and two pieces off, but present. One spherule missing. Restoration to an oak leaf at left side. Finish possibly varnished or lacquere (gold has a brownish hue). Scattered chips.
