George IV Silver Tea Urn, London, 1824, maker's mark EB, squat pear-shaped body with domed lid with berry finial, finely chased and embossed with scrolling foliates, the body with birds amidst flowering vines, scrolls, and rocaille, reeded acanthus handles, central coat of arms engraved above the tap with ivory shell-form knob, the short stem with leaftip bands, on oblong base with heavy shell feet, interior with silver-mounted warmer frame, ht. 16 in., approx. 174 troy oz. good. marks good.
