Condition: Tear to u.l. quadrant, retouch, craquelure, skinning l.r. Provenance: Through a Stratford, Connecticut estate. Two small tears to u.l. quadrant, the first measuring approximately 1/4 in. length and the second measuring approximately 1/2 in. length; skinning to signature; approximately three areas of retouch--one to u.r. corner spanning approximately 1/2 x 5/6 in., one to u.c. along top edge spanning approximately 1/4 x 1/2 in., and one to l.c. along bottom edge spanning approximately 1/2 x 3/4 in.; craquelure throughout.
