Attributed to Charles Landseer (British, 1799-1879) Tender Request Unsigned, titled and inscribed on the reverse of the mount. Watercolor on paper, 14 15/16 x 12 in. (38.0 x 30.5 cm), framed. Condition: Mounted to paperboard support. Inscribed on the reverse of the mount as follows: "Charles Landseer, R.A./from Berna... Sale/and From Sir William Drakes S..." in black ink across the top; "C. Landseer 1799-1879/bought at Bernats Sale" in pencil at center; and "Tender Request/painted by Charles Landseer R.A." in pencil lower right corner. Stamped on the frame backing by Mascot Studio, New York.
