French Gold-washed . 950 Silver and Enamel Box, 19th century, maker's mark TTS, with French guarantee stamps to inside rim, the cylindrical lidded box with gold-washed interior and plaques of rust-colored guilloche enamel to lid and sides, framed by foliate bands of royal and sky blue enamel, and with textured silver base, ht. 1 1/4, lg. 4, wd. 1 3/8 in., approx. 5 troy oz. Rubbing and loss to gold-wash. 1/4 in. chip to rust-colored guilloche on bottom back right side. Scattered minor loss and chips to sky blue enamel.
