German . 812 Silver Teapot, possibly Bremen, late 18th/early 19th century, the urn-shaped body with cast foliate bands to rim and foot and floral and foliate band to waist, with collar of leaves at top of trumpet foot, the handle formed as a scaly grotesque beast with carved ivory tail, overall ht. 8 1/4 in., approx. 18.7 troy oz. Lid not original. Dent beneath spout.
