German . 812 Silver Covered Chalice, second quarter 19th century, bearing city mark possibly for Prezlau, 13 loth standard, and maker's mark "P.B&C," with a joined laurel wreath finial to cover, the chalice with classically robed figures and two inscriptions in German dedicated to Albert Schott dated 1833, raised on a stem with egg-and-dart registers terminating in a circular foot with a grapevine band, ht. 13 1/2 in., approx. 31.4 troy oz.
