Empire Mahogany Tall Clock by David Greig, Perth, Scotland, c. 1835, 13-inch dia. painted iron dial with Roman numerals and signed David Greig, Perth , subsidiary seconds and calendar dials, lancet-shaped case top, brass bezel, lyre waist with shell carving, all on a French foot base, eight-day time and strike movement with two iron weights and pendulum, ht. 87 1/2 in. No significant repairs or restoration, replacement central final, dial shellac discolored with age, period iron weights are not a matched pair, movement needs an overhaul.
