Norton Rockingham Glazed Stoneware Tree Stump-form Planter, F. B. Norton & Co., Worcester, Massachusetts, mid-to-late 19th century, molded with vines, cut branches, and bird's nest on the exterior, with large central and four smaller openings, impressed "F.B. NORTON WORCESTER MASS." on base, (imperfections), ht. 14 1/2 in. minor chips, hairlines around main rim, and glaze wear around openings, 3 in. rim crack on one smaller opening.
