Four-piece Portuguese Silver Tea and Coffee Service, Oporto, c. 1815, maker's mark AM, ovoid teapot, hot water pot, footed coffeepot and covered sugar, chased and embossed with band of flowering vine, over reeded body, with floriform lid finials, on paw feet; sold together with an associated waste bowl, Oporto, c. 1845, similarly decorated, on ball feet, dia. 6 3/8 in., (5 pieces total), approx. 125 troy oz. total. teapot and coffeepot off, but present (the need nuts to reattach). hot water pot with crack to wood handle at base socket. all with some light age-typical wear and scattered pinpoints.
