Two Meissen Porcelain Cupid Figures, Saxony, late 19th century, each polychrome enameled and gilded, one modeled as a figure sharpening his arrows on a whetstone wheel, with blue crossed swords mark, incised "C 62," impressed "78," and painted "41," ht. 4 1/2; the other a motto figure inscribed "Coup sur coup" with Cupid perched on a cloud and preparing to release his arrow, with blue crossed swords mark, incised "F...," and painted "1," ht. 5 in. Wet stone wheel with loss to one leaf. Coup sur coup with loss to arrowhead.
