Two Meissen Porcelain Motto Figures, Dresden, Je les balance with Cupid lifting a plane with a flaming heart and leaning against a tree trunk, ht. 5 1/2; and Las de vaincre je me repose , with Cupid sitting on a cloud and resting on a column with bow and arrows by his side, ht. 5 in., each with first quality crossed swords mark. Je les balance with plane lacking second element (likely another flaming heart), and chip to yellow sash. Las de vaincre je me repose with small chip to left wing.
