HOADLEY PLYMOUTH" Clock Dial, Plymouth, Connecticut, early 19th century, tombstone-shaped clock face, the crest painted with a scene of Noah's Ark atop a mountain over an inscription "May peace like the Dove that returned from the Flood/Find an Ark of abode in our New Constitution," the corners painted with stylized flower blossoms, the manufacturer's name inscribed above a small group of musical instruments and sheet music, with gilt accents, (minor paint wear, battery-operated movement added), ht. 16 1/4, wd. 12 in.
