McClees & Germon (American, fl. 1846-1855) Sixth-plate Daguerreotype of a Boy in a Plaid Shirt, stamped "McCLEES & GERMON" and "PHILA" on brass mat l.l. and l.r., respectively, in an embossed leather case. Condition: Minor tarnish, repaired spine, case is worn and abraded, scattered spots of corrosion on brass mat, velvet pad lightly abraded, not examined out of case. Provenance: A private New England collection.
