Condition: Light toning. Provenance: Retains a paper label from the American Folk Art Gallery, New York, reportedly found in Maine. Exhibitions: New York, The Downtown Gallery, Paintings on Velvet 1800-1840, October, 1939; Eden Hill House, Newtown Connecticut, 1952 and 1957.
