Carved Walnut Side Chair, England or Ireland, c. 1740-60, the scroll-carved cresting above shaped stiles and vasiform splat on balloon slip seat with cutout pendant on front cabriole legs with shell and bellflower carved knees continuing to pad feet, joined to the block-turned raking rear legs by shaped central stretcher, refinished, (minor imperfections), ht. 39, seat ht. 17 1/2 in.
