of rounded rectangular form with the main panels decorated with parrots amongst cages containing various accoutrements, the perimeter of the case having raised and gilt decoration of scrolling clouds, having a three-character mark at the bottom left, having a mixed metal and ivory manju netsuke of a dancing figure and a carved stag antler ojime of geese in flight. Height 3 1/2 inches.
