Figures depicted at full length and in the round. One depicting an emperor with a long wavy beard holding a document in his hands. Emperor figure with crown on head and long robes with beaded and floral detail. Figure complimented by companion female empress carving. Young woman depicted with eyes closed holding a ribboned item in her raised hand and a basket with flowers in her lowered hand. Young beauty with crown with seated Buddha figure at top. Woman also with peacock form at side. Height of male ivory carving 35.75 inches. Height of female ivory carving 35.75 inches. Each figure has its own fitted storage box.
