Pair of Monumental Buddhist Lions, China, fine-grained granite, female with bell collar, her cub at her right paw, male with a bell collar, a globe at his left paw and a ball in his mouth, both on integral, rectangular bases with three sides roughly finished, the fourth carved to depict an open scroll, (tails originally carved separately now missing), approx. 57 x 23 x 12 in.
