Erte (Romain de Tirtoff) (Russian/French 1892-1990) for Baccarat. Full lead crystal and gilt bronze table vase, "Flight of Love (Grapes)", designed by Erte in 1989. Hand blown, hand cut and polished crystal vase with gilt bronze mounts at top of two birds feeding on grape clusters. Bottom with Baccarat mark, side signed "Baccarat", Marked on underside of bronze on both sides visible through vase with stamp of Erte's signature, stamped mark, date and edition number 151/395. Height 16.3", width 13", depth 6.4". Accompanied with certificate of authenticity from Benedetti Gallery, New York, New York. Provenance: Benedetti Gallery, New York, New York whereby acquired by Mrs. Dorothy Edwards, Atlanta, Georgia in 1997.
