A pair of Egyptian foam latex masks made for Ra, played by Jaye Davidson in Stargate (Canal+, Centropolis Film Productions, 1994). The masks were made to be work with the elaborate headdress and were the public face of Ra. The masks were laid on a sheer nylon foundation and painted in bronze and brown tones with sculpted Egyptian detailing. One piece has the eyes opened, the second does not. Both are pinned to Styrofoam heads to help them retain their shape and for storage. Categories: STARGATE
