A chartreuse hair ornament worn by Esther Williams in Jupiter's Darling (MGM, 1955). The piece is made of nylon for swimming scenes with a layer of gold metallic mesh embellished with sequins and beads. The tip of the piece has a gold tone metal adornment with artificial pearls. Williams wore the piece braided into her hair. No label present. Costume design by Walter Plunkett and Helen Rose. Accompanied by copy of the film. Categories: Esther Williams
