An evening suit worn by Vanessa Redgrave to the 1992 Academy Awards. Custom-made black jacket and couture trousers designed by Bruce Oldfield. The multi-paneled jacket tapers into single panels, creating a fringe, snap closure. Redgrave was nominated for Best Actress in a Supporting Role for her portrayal of Ruth Wilcox in the film Howard's End (Merchant Ivory, 1992). No sizes present.
