A black silk velvet cape designed by Adrian for Marion Davies in Polly of the Circus (MGM, 1932). The long cape is embellished with a foliate pattern formed from rhinestones, small silver sequins and sprays of small bugle beads with smocking to the large collar and a cream silk lining.
