Two vintage, original black and white photographs of Marion Davies. First embossed "Elmer Fryer," inscribed, "To Mary with all my love from Marion." Davies prolific career has been overshadowed by the scandal surrounding her relationship with William Randolph Heart. The home in San Simeon that Davies shared with Hearst vied with Pickfair for most fabulous and elite social gatherings. Pickford and Fairbanks were attendees at these soir‚es. Second is a photograph of Davies with her husband Horace Brown, taken by John Engstead, inscribed, "To Mary and Buddy With all our love and affection, Marion and Horace." Davies married Brown two weeks after the death of Hearst. 14 by 11 inches Categories: Mary Pickford
