A grey wool tweed vintage Russian Cossack coat from MGM Studios. The coat has gold lamé red ribbon trim with ribs for imitation bullets and has an MGM tag and is stamped "38." Similar coats with epaulettes were seen in Balalaika (MGM, 1939) and several later films with Russian military. Men's costumes designed by Valles. Accompanied by a matching belt, imitation bullets, and a copy of the film. Previously exhibited at The Sharon Landa Gallery in Hollywood, California, 1971.
