Cossack-style Coat and Four Medals, the long navy blue coat with metallic trim and shoulder boards with Tsar Nicholas II's cipher; two Imperial Russian medal for bravery, late 19th/early 20th century, the obverse with tsar Nicholas II's head in profile, the reverse with Cyrillic inscription, dia. 1 1/8; an 84 zolotnik standard silver medal to celebrate the birth of Tsarevich Alexei Nikolaevich, maker's mark "BMP," the obverse with a seated female figure, the reverse with Cyrillic inscription, ht. 1 1/4; and an 84 zolotnik standard silver pin to celebrate three hundred years of Romanov rule, partial maker's mark, cast as a laurel wreath surrounding a heraldic crest, with Cyrillic inscription to the reverse, ht. 1 3/4 in. Provenance: Cossack coat purchased from Paul Golubovs, California, and originally from a Hollywood costume shop; Medal celebrating the birth of Alexei from Romanov Russia (Dmitry Alexandrov), Chicago.
