Wooden Award is presented annually by the Los Angeles Athletic Club to the best player in both men's and women's college basketball. The award was first presented for men's college basketball in 1977; women's college basketball was added in 2003-04. This basketball is from the 2004 awards ceremony. The ball is signed by Wooden in black marker and by 2003 winners Jameer Nelson and Alana Beard. The ball is accompanied by a program from the April 10, 2004, awards ceremony and a Lucite display case with mirrored backing.
