A Joe Louis vs. Max Schmeling "Living Legends" 1973 lithograph from artist Bob Peak. The lithograph depicts the 1938 meeting between the two pugilists that took place at Yankee Stadium in The Bronx, New York. This was the second fight between the two boxers. After Schmeling defeated Louis in their first bout, Louis avenged the loss by defeating Schmeling with a first-round knockout.
