A pair of Rick Griffin artworks. The first is a pen on tracing paper sketch of a flaming eyeball against a desert background scene. The second is a mixed media on paper representation of the same image. The images appear to be inspired by Griffin's travels to the desert Southwest and an evolution of his winged eyeball motif frequently seen in his artwork. Both pieces are framed and have not been examined outside of the frame.
