The artwork was framed by Alton Kelley in a multi-layered frame style. Griffin has incorporated numerous and layered images of sea lore as well as his trademark images of skulls, skeletons and death. The image is representative of Griffin's highly detailed and intricate artwork. Not examined outside of frame.
