A 1974 arrest warrant issued to Elvis Presley by the city of Los Angeles. The warrant stemmed from a failure by Presley to appear in court regarding his vehicle being parked in a red no parking zone at the Los Angeles International Airport. The original citation was issued December 18, 1974. Presley’s bail was set at $20. The warrant is accompanied by a typed note from Mary Sholty at the office of Presley’s attorneys, Hookstratten & Irwin. That note is dated July 30, 1975, and reads in part, “We were able to reduce the bail from $20.00 to $5.00 – so it’s been taken care of… .” Additionally accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Elvis Presley Enterprises, Graceland.
