A khaki U. S. Army Air Corps shirt worn by Academy Award-winning actor Orson Welles as Brig. Gen. Dreedle in the motion picture Catch - 22 (Paramount, 1970) starring Anthony Perkins, Bob Newhart, Buck Henry, Jon Voight, and Alan Arkin. The long-sleeve khaki military shirt was custom made for Welles' and has a Machin Tailor label with Welles name misspelled that reads “Tailored Especially For Orsen Wells,” with a costume house stamp present. Welles can be seen wearing the shirt under his uniform jacket and overcoat throughout the film. Costume design by Ernest Adler. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity and a copy of the film.
