Three reels (two Scotch 5 inch reels and one 7 inch Emerald Recording tape reel) of an audio taped interview that Howard conducted with Mick Jagger dated "10/20/69". This interview was done in Los Angeles at a house in the Hollywood Hills days before the 1969 ‘Gimme Shelter’ tour began. The tour ends at Altamont on December 6, 1969. Smith interviewed Jagger who was recovering from tonsillitis. He spoke about the differences between performing and recording, the game of the perfect hit single, the state of rock and roll radio in the US, how the Rolling Stones get along together and the issues with making so much money. Accompanied by a CD recording of the interview. Categories: Mick Jagger
