Original Center Stage RCA model 77-DX microphone from the Shreveport Municipal Auditorium, where the historic Louisiana Hayride Radio Show was broadcast. Elvis made his world radio debut while using this microphone on October 16, 1954. Elvis and many other performers used this microphone, notably, Hank Williams who recorded many of his early songs after hours with this mic at the KWKH studios. Other performers who used the microphone include: Johnny Cash, Faron Young, Loretta Lynn, Dolly Parton, Grandpa Jones, Ernest Tubb, Roy Acuff, Slim Whitman, Jerry Lee Lewis, Kitty Wells, Bob Wills, Johnny & Jack, Webb Pierce, Hank Snow and many others. Accompanied by photos of Elvis with the microphone, and photographs of a 23-year old Johnny Cash performing on 12/31/55, George Jones performing on 7/28/56, Hank Williams Sr. 12/20/52, a list of artists who performed with the microphone and a commemorative booklet from 1994 - the 20th anniversary of Elvis' first Hayride appearance from Joey Kent owner of The Louisiana Hayride.
