Stage worn white "Mr. The Edge" T-shirt created by Walter Van Beirendonck for the 1997 Popmart tour and worn under The Edge’s White Denim Cowboy Suit. The t-shirt includes "muscle sleeves" which all the members of the band wore in one fashion or another making them appear extremely, shall we say, strong. The shirt is one of two created for the Popmart tour. Edge appeared on the cover of the Hasta La Vista live CD walking down the steps of the Popmart Lemon wearing one of these shirts. From U2 Stylist Sharon Blankson: The design was inspired by superheroes' torsos and cartoon graphics. All four members of U2 wore their own version of this t-shirt during the show. This was customarily worn by the Edge throughout the show with black denim jeans and sleeveless jacket, black cowboy boots and hat during the first part of the show, then with white versions of the same garments during the latter part of the show.
