A Mongolian Princess costume consisting of a matching under coat and waistcoat made up of applique fabrics in reds, blues, oranges, golds and browns with sleeves trimmed in heavy black Astrakhan and trimmed in white lambs wool. The hat is constructed of deep red printed rayon brocade with gold embroidery and trimmed in rabbit fur. Completing the costume is a pair of plaits made in cast fiberglass with decorative bands over horsehair and finished with traditional appliquéd metallic tubes. Categories: The Last Emperor
