A traditional Mongolian Princess costume consisting of a robe of printed cotton with appliquéd strips of gold ribbon with a front panel and collar of mirrored Indian fabric finished with brown Astrakhan cuffs trimmed in gold silk. Also included is a buckram base hat covered in printed red, yellow, and cream velour and trimmed in brown Astrakhan. Included are the traditional plaits made in cast fiberglass with decorative bands over horsehair with appliquéd metallic tubes detailed with silk strips embroidered in green paisley motifs.
