A one-sheet linen backed movie poster for the film Too Many Girls (RKO, 1940), Lucy and Desi’s first film together. Arnaz was performing the stage production of the film on Broadway when Lucy was cast for the film version. Producers decided to bring Desi to Hollywood to reprise his role for the film and in doing so, united TV’s future Lucy and Ricky Ricardo for the first time. Categories: Lucille Ball
