"Chelsea Girls" off-set lithograph movie poster (British Double Crown) originally illustrated by Alan Aldridge (English, b. 1943-), published by Motif Editions (English, 20th century), printed by Shenval Press (English, 20th century), circa 1970, inscribed "© 1970 Chelsea Girls by Alan Aldridge. Published by Motif Editions. Printed by Sherval Press, Harlow, England.". Print depicts provocative monochromatic nude female with eight open windows dispersed throughout her torso, each window with a papier-mâché figure, with an open door at the woman's groin, the doorway with black and white tiled floor, the doorway with a lighted marquee sign reading "CHELSEA HOTEL" overhead, with inscription at lower center "For the first time in this country in its original continuous version running for 3.5 hours on two screens, Andy Warhol's Chelsea Girl's, Oct 16th-19th (Wed-Sat) 23rd-26th (Wed-Sat), 7.00 pm till 12.00 midnight tickets 10/- (Bookable) 7/6, Arts Laboratory 182 Drury Lane WC2. 242-3407/8".
