A handcrafted German girl puppet with cloth covered mannequin rubber face and cloth and fabric body. This puppet is dressed in an elaborate embroidered costume with fine lace edged apron and blouse, in the original protective case. This puppet appeared with Elvis Presley in the film G . I . Blues (Paramount, 1960). Together with an original design sketch (charcoal, watercolor and gouache on Strathmore art paper) by Morton Haack and black and white photographs and photocopies of this puppet with Presley in the film, from an unpublished article in LIFE magazine.
