Paper, Black Light Paint, and Mixed Media. Dan Calandro is a theatrical set designer and scenic artist from St. Louis, Missouri. He moved to Los Angeles in 2003 to work full time as a scenic artist for television, amusement parks, and entertainment events. Calandro continues to design for theatre in Missouri. Leilani Yosick is an energetic scenic artist from Mansfield, Ohio, who at an early age was fascinated with paint and art. Yosick is based out of West Hollywood and has worked in the film and entertainment industries since 1998. Yosick’s past projects include “Noah’s Park” at the Skirball Museum and the award-winning 2008 China Airlines float for the Rose Parade in Pasadena. "Making Headlines" is a painted visual compilation of past newspaper headlines from The Sunset Strip and Gibson.
