A lot consisting of gladiator armor displayed on a Life-Size Wax Mannequin of Spartacus, played by Kirk Douglas in Spartacus (Bryna/Universal, 1960). The armor features a chain mail sleeve and blue trunks with a wide leather belt with leather ornamentation, together with the prop metal sword used by Douglas. The figure features a wax head with hand plunged hair and glass eyes, attached to a custom fiberglass body posed for battle. A black and white publicity still of Douglas in the costume, an autographed Paramount still of Douglas, and a second short sword accompany this lot.
