The stock invitation, printed on heavy card stock, has the names Mr. and Mrs. Chaplin, and the date Thursday November 17th, 1977, handwritten in script. The invitation has a raised gold Presidential seal at the top. Also included is the envelope with the simple return address "The White House" printed on the front. "Mr. and Ms. Charles Chaplin, Le Manior du Ban, Corsier-sur-Vevey Switzerland" is written on the front.
