Card Changing Box. Maker unknown (likely European), ca. 1910. Tooled cloth-covered wooden box bearing a fan of cards on its lid. The magician places a card or cards inside the empty box and closes the lid. Upon reopening it, the cards have changed into different cards, or a slip of paper. 4 ¾ x 3 3/8 x 3 ¾". Cloth rippled and worn at extremities, but in good working condition.
