Cantor, Eddie. Two TLSs from Eddie Cantor to Cardini. On personal and hotel stationery, Cantor writes on Jan. 31, 1934, requesting that Cardini appear at a charity show at the New Amsterdam Theatre, New York. The following letter, dated Feb. 14, 1934, thanks Cardini for his work on the show. Both letters signed “Eddie Cantor.” In addition to a extremely successful career on Broadway, the radio, in the movies and on TV, Cantor was a magic fan whose name was attached to the Eddie Cantor Magic Club, a mail-order club, in 1935.
