Italian, 19th century. Baroque style brass metal candlestick or candle pricket with large pointed pricket at top of circular wax guard with gadrooned edge above fluted tapered columnar shaft on a tripartite base with religious figural scenes of the Madonna and Child, Jesus Christ Carrying the Cross and a Saint with Lilies. Acanthus leaf decorated knees above lion's paw feet. Unmarked. Height 26.5".
