Unusual French Brass Candlestick Clock, last quarter 19th century, scroll-form brass case with a hinged 5 1/2-in. dia. bezel, opening to the roman numeral frosted glass chapter ring, rear-mounted arm that holds a candle, which when lit illuminates the chapter ring, French platform escapement movement, together with two scrolled brass candlesticks, ht. 15 1/2 in. Estimate $200-300 two cracks to the glass chapter ring. Items may have wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
